Recommended for large containers, the TreeDiaper^® TD16 Advanced Hydration System is designed for potted plants up to 10-gallon containers, to be kept in containers! This model is NOT designed for plants to be planted in the grounds. For #10 container plants going into the grounds, please use TD24 for narrower pots (15" or smaller) and TD36 for wider pots (16" or larger). Refer those models for more information

Simply soak the mat in water to get it started, then place it around your plants. Its user-friendly circular shape is designed to be placed on top of various types of soil. If you prefer a natural look, just add mulch on top of the mat. Because the TreeDiaper® treemat is made from durable materials, it can be used for years!

Water release rate varies depending on indoor or outdoor plants, temperature, airflow, and humidity. In one test, the mat continued to release water for a full two months.
